View Packaging Definitions
Pre-packed (Ready-to-Ship): For products received in shipping-ready packaging that requires no additional boxing or materials. We pick the item, apply the shipping label directly to your package, and hand it off to the carrier.
Your Packaging (Branded): For clients who provide their own branded boxes, mailers, or custom packaging materials. We pick the item, pack it using your supplied materials, apply the label, and hand it off to the carrier.
Our Packaging (Standard): For clients who prefer to use our standard inventory of mailers, padded envelopes, and certain boxes. We pick the item, pack it using our standard packaging materials, apply the label, and hand it off to the carrier.
Custom Orders: For items requiring special handling, fragile care, or unique dimensions.

View Storage Guidelines
The monthly storage fee is based on the number of standard pallets utilized. A standard pallet has a maximum usable dimensions of 120 cm x 100 cm x 160 cm (or approximately 47.2 in x 39.4 in x 63.0 in.). Any inventory exceeding these dimensions will be charged for a second full pallet. We do not charge pro-rata fees for partial overages. All stored inventory is subject to a minimum monthly storage fee equal to that of one standard pallet.

Multi-Item Order: Picking Fee Rates
The fees below apply to the second item and every subsequent item within the same order. The first item pick is already included in your base Pick & Pack rate. To keep billing simple, the fee is based on the average item weight (Total Package Weight / Total Number of Items).

Marketing & Promotional Inserts: Any non-inventory additions (such as thank-you notes, flyers, or stickers) are billed at a flat rate of $0.17 per insert.

Missing Packing List Fee: If a packing list is not provided prior to or upon the arrival of goods, receiving will be billed as additional labor at our hourly rate of $60/hr.
Manual Unit Count Request Fee: Requests for a full manual piece-count upon receipt will be billed at our hourly rate of $60/hr.
Return Processing Rates
The fee is based on the total incoming weight of the returned package, regardless of the number of individual items inside.

Restock Fee: If your item needs to be restocked (placed back into active inventory), a separate Restock Fee of $0.20 per item is charged.

Frequently asked questions
Does Hermeslines have monthly minimums?
No. Hermeslines has no monthly order minimums and no monthly invoice minimums. We bill you per order fulfilled and per pallet stored, with no minimum spend or volume commitment. If we fulfill 50 orders for you one month and 5,000 the next, the bill scales with your actual usage.
What does it cost to fulfill a 1lb order from Hermeslines?
A 1lb pre-packed order is $0.99 in pick-and-pack fees, plus carrier shipping. For orders we pack using your own custom packaging materials, it’s $1.45. For orders we pack with our standard mailers and boxes, it’s $1.57. Full rate table is on this page above.
How is storage priced at Hermeslines?
Storage is priced per pallet per month, with volume discounts as you scale. At 1 pallet, storage is $15.99 per pallet per month. Rates drop as low as $13.01 per pallet per month at the 15+ pallet tier. There are no long-term contracts — only a one-pallet minimum monthly storage fee when you have inventory with us.
Where does Hermeslines ship from?
Our primary fulfillment facility is in Cleveland, Ohio, in the heart of US population density. Over 50% of the US population is within a single day’s ground drive. We also operate a smaller facility in Denmark.
Does Hermeslines do Amazon FBA prep?
Yes. We offer Amazon FBA prep, retail prep, and B2B prep services at a flat $60 per hour, plus $10 per pallet for receiving and $5 per stretch wrap. We handle FNSKU labeling, carton building, polybagging, and direct dispatch to Amazon FCs. If we supply the cartons or polybags ourselves, those materials are billed at cost.
